ABOUT ABOUT
How to motivate your employees is the central topic in this book and it's essential in our startups when we're in the early stages trying to get to the next level. Daniel Pink discusses why monetary incentives aren't as effective as we think and how to influence employees using intrinsic motivators.

As one Amazon reviewer stated: "This is highly entertaining and thought provoking. At some time we all face the challenge of trying to motivate others. For the most part we have relied on the reward/punishment approach. You will learn why this does not work and a better approach to motivation no matter who you are working with."

You can get a used copy or the digital version from Amazon for around $9 - http://www.amazon.com/Drive-Surprising-Truth-About-Motivates/dp/0143145088.

As always, we'll be meeting at the Cosi on 18th and Walnut (right by Rittenhouse Square). If it's nice out, we can also venture out to the park. If you don't have time to grab a bite before joining us, Cosi has a great selection of pizza and sandwiches and as well as coffee and other drinks.

The event is limited to 6 participants total so we can have an intimate, thoughtful discussion.

Hope to see you there!
